The weights of the books are calculated as:

Book A = 1 * 1kg + 0 * 500g + 7 * 100g +4 * 10g = 1740 g

Book B = 0 * 1kg + 3 * 500g + 1 * 100g +8 * 10g = 1680 g

1740 is greater than 1680 by 60

This means that the book has the greater mass is book A and It is 60 grams greater.
