There are 60 minutes in an hour, so 8 x 60 = 480 ounces. Then, since we know that there are 128 ounces in a gallon we solve the equation 480 / 128 = 3.75. Now, we know that the pipe would leak 3.75 gallons in an hour. Hope this helped !
