Dina and Masha start cycling on a 20 km bike path at the same time. When Dina reaches the end of the path, Masha still has 4 km of the path left to cycle. If Dina’s cycling speed is 10 km/h, how much time longer will Masha need to complete the path?

Answer: Masha needs 40 more minutes to complete the path.

So if Dina is cycling speed is 10km per hour that means it will take Dina 2 hours to completed the the path.

Here;   [tex]\frac{10km}{1h}[/tex] = [tex]\frac{20km}{x }[/tex]  

           10x = 20

       x= 2  

But since Masha still have 4 more km to go  you will add 20 + 4 =24

[tex]\frac{10}{1}[/tex] = [tex]\frac{24}{x}[/tex]

10x= 24

x= 2.4
