Please helP!! I don't know how to do this!!

The dynamic pressure q generated by a fluid moving with velocity v can be found using the formula above, where n is the constant density of the fluid. An aeronautical engineer uses the formula to find the dynamic pressure of a fluid moving with velocity v and the same fluid moving with velocity 1.5v. What is the ratio of the dynamic pressure of the faster fluid to the dynamic pressure of the slower fluid?

Please helP I dont know how to do this The dynamic pressure q generated by a fluid moving with velocity v can be found using the formula above where n is the co class=

Respuesta :

2.25:1

Substitute the "new" velocity (I.e. "1.5v") into the dynamic pressure equation:

q = (1/2)*n*[(1.5v)^(2)]
=> q= (1/2)*n*[2.25v^(2)]

Compare this result to dynamic pressure with a velocity of "v":

q = (1/2)*n*[v^2]

As you will see, the faster fluid has a dynamic pressure, q, value that is 2.25x greater than that of the slower fluid.

Therefore, the ratio of the faster fluid to the slower fluid is 2.25 to 1.
